Marigold hydrosol (Calendula officinalis)

Description

Calendula hydrosol has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and it is used for irritated skin especially for sensitive and damaged skin conditions of all types. It is useful in skin problems such as acne, eczema, diaper rash in the baby, scratches, sunburn, scars, wounds and bites of insects, gum disease, ear infection, hemorrhoids and other inflamed skin conditions. It can also be used to make compress for tired eye, and eye infection  like conjunctivitis. It has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent and antimicrobial properties. It is best to combine it with yarrow hydrosol for treating condition like acne, eczema and psoriasis.  It speeds up wound healing and tissue repair. It stimulates the production of collagen. It could be used as natural spray for face, body and hair, also for intimate care. It can used as mouthwash and in place of water for sensitive and damaged skin care products, also for baby and nursing care.

Calendula hydrosol is obtained from dried calendula (marigold) flowers by a specific distillation process and does not contain preservatives and alcohol.
