Chamomile hydrosol can be used as a facial toner and body/hair spray, for all skin types especially for sensitive or inflamed skin. It is considered as the one of most gentle of all the hydrosols and recommended for use on the eyes. Chamomile hydrosol is also an ideal choice for baby and child care. It is used for relieving teething in babies and calming the rash and redness in the babies. Babies soothe the smell of chamomile hydrolos and it may be sprayed into the air for the bedroom or add for baby bath, while the mother can use chamomile hydrosol for washing breasts and nursing cracked and sick nipples.
It can be used as a lining in irritated eyes and conjunctivitis. Its powerful anti-inflamatory antibacterial properties makes it the toner of choice for many skin problems: acne, rosacea, couperose, insect bites, eczema, sunburn, psoriasis, seborrhea, hemorrhoids, burns and other inflamed skin conditions. It can be added to creams and lotions in the manufacturing process in place of water.
Chamomile hydrosol is obtained from dried chamomile flowers by a specific distillation process and does not contain preservatives and alcohol.
